The trip to McDermitt was a huge success. We had a large group of people all three days. Hope everyone had a great time. Please note that there are changes to the trip to Texas Springs. Calendar and member’s only page will be updated shortly. Photos of the recent trip have been posted to the 2026 photo album.
Another show is done and gone! This year was record setting with attendance and income generated. Thank you to all who helped make this event a success.
The April meeting was well attended. It was great to see all that showed and the new faces. Please help to promote our club and make it grow. There was a lot of talk about the upcoming trip to McDermitt, NV. Check the calendar and member’s only page for dates and times. Hope to see you there. This is always a fun trip. Please fill out the form on the member’s only page if attending so we can have a good count on who to expect.
We had a very good turnout for the February meeting. We would like to welcome the new members to the club. The biggest topics at the meeting were the upcoming rock and gem show and this year’s field trips. The field trips are posted on the member’s only page. Please volunteer to help us at the gem show. The show dates are 14 and 15 March 2026. Help is also needed on 13 March for set up. The February challenge piece was won by Jan Castine. Peter Castine won the raffle mystery prize.
The Cache Rock and Gem Club of Logan Utah has invited us to join them on their field trips. They do require that we become members. Information about membership and the field trips can be found on their website.
This year’s annual Rock and Gem Show will be held in March as usual. We are looking for members who are interested in helping us out with set up, tear down and during the show. Please let us know if you are interested.
